The space age Jetsons of TV fame are coming to the big screen. Universal Pictures and Hanna-Barbera Productions are making “Jetsons: The Movie,” a full-length animated feature based on the popular television series of the 1960s. The film will feature the original voices of the Jetsons: George O’Halon as George, Penny Singleton as Jane, Janet Waldo as Judy, Don Messick as their dog Astro, Jean VanderPyl as Rosie the Robot and Mel Blanc as Mr. Spacely. Patric Zimmerman has replaced the late Daws Butler as the voice of Elroy Jetson. In the film--scheduled for release in the fall--George gets a promotion and the family moves to a new neighborhood.
