Marinaro Scores 3 in Lazer Victory

Hector Marinaro scored three goals to lead the Lazers to a 10-7 victory over the Baltimore Blast in a Major Indoor Soccer League game at the Forum Tuesday.

It was the seventh straight home victory for the Lazers (14-13), who took a 2-0 lead in the first quarter on goals from Marinaro and Steve Kinsey. Baltimore tied it with goals from Billy Ronson and Domenic Mobilio and went ahead, 3-2, at the half when Mobilio scored for the second time.

The Lazers countered with three consecutive goals in the third quarter. They scored five goals and the Blast four in the fourth quarter.

Mobilio led the first-place Blast (16-8) with five goals. He has 21 for the season.

Marinaro has 11 goals in the past four games.
