A hugely successful Paris art show featuring the paintings of Paul Gauguin reopened Wednesday after museum attendants voted to end a brief strike. Workers at the Grand Palais, complaining of poor pay and conditions, began their protest Monday. The exhibition of works by the 19th-Century French artist is attracting 8,000 visitors a day. It runs until April 24.
