Arabs Ask U.N. Debate on West Bank Violence

UNITED NATIONS —
Arab nations called Wednesday for a meeting of the U.N. Security Council to consider the continuing violence in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The move, announced by U.N. spokeswoman Nadia Younes, came after the Palestine observer mission here said in a letter to the council that the “dangerous situation requires official consideration by the Security Council.”
