Perils of Censorship and Pornography

I too congratulate Supt. John Nicoll for taking a stand to not allow homosexuals to share their unnatural life style with high school students.

The subject matter is suitable for junior college and university courses.

In response to Principal Dennis L. Evans’ point that “convicted felons have been brought to school to talk about the impact of their ‘different’ life styles on family, friends and self,” I think he is trying to compare apples and oranges when he compares felons to homosexuals.

It would seem there would be a degree of repentance and hope for rehabilitation, a lesson to be learned for the young people listening about what happens when rules of society are broken when felons speak.

However, homosexuals extol the “gay” life style and see the young as innocent prey who might someday join their ranks in perversity.

There is a need to provide equal time for the advocacy of heterosexuality because not enough young people appreciate the benefits of monogamous marriage and sexual abstinence before marriage. If they did, we wouldn’t have so many teen-age pregnancies, venereal disease, abortions and divorce.

As a taxpayer I would like to see our schools teach values which have made this country strong for 200 years. To cater to the whims of a small interest group such as the homosexuals is to court disaster in our schools and society. Future generations will be ashamed of us for not standing up for clean, wholesome living.
