Angel Gist, 19, a freshman center for the Baylor women’s basketball team, and another student, Heather Ann McNear, were killed when a car, driven by McNear, crossed into the eastbound lane of a highway and struck a pickup truck east of Dawson, Tex. McNear apparently fell asleep at the wheel, the accident report said.
