La Jolla
A 15-year-old La Jolla teen-ager who fell 30 feet from a cliff at the northern tip of La Jolla was in fair condition Tuesday morning at Scripps Memorial Hospital-La Jolla, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Fire officials estimated that the boy, whose identity was not released, had been lying at the foot of the cliff near the 1300 block of Coast Walk for nearly three hours when he was found about 10:30 a.m. He was flown by Life Flight to Scripps, where he was being treated for hypothermia and multiple cuts, a hospital spokeswoman said.
