PRESIDENT’S DAY CLOSINGS
Monday is observed as President’s Day, marking the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Following is a list of local closings.
GOVERNMENT: Federal, state and county offices will be closed Monday. City offices in Westminster will be open Monday; all other city offices will be closed.
MAIL: Mail will not be delivered Monday.
TRASH: Trash will not be picked up on Monday in Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Cypress, Garden Grove, Placentia and Yorba Linda. In all other cities, pickup schedules remain unchanged.
COURTS: County, state and federal courts will be closed Monday.
BANKS: Most banks will close on Monday.
SCHOOLS: In the Capistrano and Los Alamitos unified school districts, schools will be closed today and Monday. In the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, schools will be closed Monday through Wednesday. All other public schools will be closed only Monday.
