Fire at Residential Hotel Kills 4, Hurts 50 in Detroit

DETROIT —
Fire roared through an aging residential hotel Friday, killing four people and injuring at least 50 others, including four police officers, authorities said. Fire officials said it appeared the four-alarm blaze started in an apartment on the first floor of the Billinghurst Hotel, forcing many residents to jump from upper-story windows.
