Bush’s Unveils Budget Plan
It all sounds great, Mr. President. Your premiere appearance before Congress was a smasheroo that promised marvels, and all with “no new taxes.”
Or, I wonder. Could it be we are misreading your lips? Instead of “no new taxes” maybe your lips are saying “more new taxes.” If so, these marvels have a chance, and we can all sing along with Democrats “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
