With a pin in his left shoulder and his arm in a sling, actor James Caan, 48, strolled out of Santa Monica’s St. Johns Hospital and Medical Center on Friday, nearly a week after crashing his motorcycle. Doctors had operated to insert a pin in his left shoulder Wednesday. . . . Also released from the hospital on Friday was jazz musician Dave Brubeck, 68, who had undergone triple-bypass heart surgery 10 days earlier in Connecticut’s Yale-New Haven Hospital.
