Canada Murder Rate Falls

OTTAWA —
Canada’s homicide rate fell last year to its lowest point in nearly two decades, the Canadian Center for Justice Statistics reported. It said over the weekend that there were 565 homicides in Canada in 1988, the lowest since 1973.
