Southeast Area : Federal Program Has More than 60 Job Openings

A federal program has more than 60 job openings for residents of Santa Fe Springs, Whittier, Pico Rivera, Los Nietos and La Mirada.

Among the positions available through the Job Connection are those in offices, warehouses and assembly plants. For people age 21 and younger, wages begin at $4.80 an hour. For those older than 21, pay starts at $6 an hour.

Applicants must meet income requirements. For a single person, the maximum annual income must be less than $5,000. The income level increases according to the number of people in a household.
