Tenacious Tom Wins Bolsa Chica Stakes at Santa Anita
Tenacious Tom trailed early but rallied to win going away in the $75,000 Bolsa Chica Stakes for 3-year-olds Wednesday at Santa Anita.
Tenacious Tom, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, was timed in 1:10 1/5 for the six furlongs and earned $48,050.
Tenacious Tom, trained by Ross Fenstermaker, paid $22.60, $9.80 and $6.60.
Mountain Ghost, ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, was second and paid $12.80 and $7.60.
Irish, with Russell Baze aboard, paid $12 to show.
Favorites Movinglikeawinner and Valiant Pete finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
