Alvin Ailey dancer Kevin Brown taught a quickie workshop in the Horton modern dance technique at Sushi on Saturday, just before the internationally acclaimed troupe wound down a five-day residency at Symphony Hall. The class, co-sponsored by Dancers Workshop of San Diego and San Diego Performances, was attended by 32 local dancers, who came away from the one-day session with snippets from Ailey’s masterwork, “Revelations,” along with their intensive crash course in technique.
