Don DeMesquita was named senior vice president-corporate communications/publicity, for Columbia Pictures Television, a unit of Columbia Pictures Entertainment. He had been vice president of the unit. In 1985, before joining Columbia, DeMesquita was executive vice president of Stone-Hallinan Associates, an international public relations agency specializing in television marketing and corporate entertainment.
