The National Endowment for the Arts, in a new Theater Program, will bestow a maximum of four one-time fellowships of $25,000 each to honor individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to non-profit theater in this country. The fellowships will be awarded on the basis of nominations submitted to the Theater Program, and nominees must have produced a distinguished body of work during a substantial career in theater. April 15 is the deadline for nominations.
