Birtcher Gets Chief Operating Officer

Richard A. Seltzer has been appointed chief operating officer of Birtcher, a Laguna Niguel-based real estate firm. He has been chief financial officer since 1983.

Previously, Seltzer was chief financial officer at Hon Development Co., an investment and real estate development firm. Earlier, he was controller of Triad Holding Co., an international investment and developmental marketing company, and with Arthur Young & Co., where he was responsible for the start-up of the company’s Saudi Arabia office.
