Even in Hollywood, an Army tank looked a bit conspicuous on Sunset Boulevard.

So police ordered the occupants to step outside the other morning. Only then did the officers discover that the crewmen were KODJ disc jockeys Dean Goss and Michael Winslow, who were broadcasting their morning show.

A spokesman said the tank, once used in the “Rat Patrol” television series, was the latest escalation of the local “radio wars.”
