Printronix Inc., a computer printer manufacturer, is closing down its production operations in the Netherlands and laying off 60 workers there, the company said. The Irvine firm will transfer the production previously done in the Netherlands to its Singapore plant. No additional hiring is planned, the company said. Printronix Nederland B.V., the company’s subsidiary in the Netherlands, will become a distribution organization for all Printronix products marketed to Europe, Africa and parts of Asia.
