2 Crewmen Killed in Air Force Jet Crash

LAS VEGAS —
Two flight crewmen were killed Wednesday when their F-111 fighter-bomber crashed in war games on the Nellis Air Force Base bombing range, Air Force officials said.
The crewmen’s names were withheld pending notification of relatives. Their jet crashed about 4:30 p.m. on the range north of Las Vegas, said Air Force Maj. Victor Andrijauskas.
The crewmen were assigned to a unit operating out of Lakenheath, England, and were participating in Red Flag training exercises.
