Partial Ruling in Perot Suit: A Fairfax, Va., judge ruled partially in favor of Texas billionaire H. Ross Perot in a breach of contract suit brought by the company he founded but later sold, allowing him to continue operating his new Perot Systems Co. provided he makes no profit. Attorneys for Electronic Data Systems described Perot as “resolved to ruin” the Texas company he had founded. EDS is trying to stop Perot from operating his company and from recruiting employees away from EDS. A decision on the recruiting issue is expected today when the trial reconvenes.
