Police have no leads in the investigation of two small explosions Saturday that caused minor damage to the office of the Torrance Police Assn. and the home of a police spokesman’s family.

There were no injuries in the blasts, one at 1:30 p.m. at the police association’s office, 22945 Arlington Ave., and the other at 11 p.m. at Sgt. Ron Traber’s former residence, where his wife and children live. The explosions blew out the front windows of the buildings, both of which were unoccupied at the time.

Police said the explosions appear to be related and were caused by paper-wrapped devices similar to large firecrackers. Residue from the bombs was sent to Sacramento on Tuesday for analysis.
