Lazers Are Beaten by Stars in Tacoma, 6-3

Midfielder Preki, the Major Indoor Soccer League’s scoring leader, got the go-ahead goal and hit the 100-point mark Wednesday night as the Stars defeated the Los Angeles Lazers, 6-3, at the Tacoma Dome.

Preki, Ali Kazemaini and Peter Ward each scored two goals for the fifth-place Stars (22-24), while Gary Heale and Michael Collins each had a goal and an assist for the last-place Lazers (20-26).
