Santa Monica : School Contract Proposal
The initial contract proposal for the agreement between the Santa Monica-Malibu Classroom Teachers Assn. and the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District for 1989-91 was released at a public hearing conducted by the Santa Monica-Malibu School Board at its meeting Monday night.
The initial proposal calls for smaller classes, more sick-leave days, a reduced workload and a salary increase.
The board is working on its own proposal, which will be made public at its meeting April 24.
No one commented on the issue at the hearing, which was opened and closed in a few minutes.
