Governor Appoints 2 Municipal Judges
Gov. George Deukmejian has appointed two judges to fill newly created positions on municipal courts in Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
Steven Suzukawa, 35, of Los Angeles, was named to the Compton Judicial District. He has been a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney since 1980. Lawrence Fry, 42, of Rancho Mirage, was selected for the Desert Judicial District. Fry has been a Riverside County Municipal Court commissioner since 1987.
Municipal Court judges earn $77,409 a year.
