EARTH DAY: Remember Earth Day? Two local schools will mark days of environmental awareness this week. Thursday, the Fullerton College Biology Club will sponsor displays and guest speakers on campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information, call (714) 992-7106.

UC Irvine will hold its Earth Day festivities during a campuswide open house Saturday. Displays, exhibits and demonstrations by conservation groups will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Gateway Plaza on campus. Call (714) 856-5181 for information.

UNDERWATER PARK: John Smith, faculty adviser of the Dive Club at Rancho Santiago College, will present an underwater view of Crystal Cove State Park at a meeting Tuesday of the Crystal Cove Interpretive Assn. The public is invited to attend the 7:30 p.m. slide program at park headquarters, El Moro parking lot, inland off Coast Highway between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach. “Science Festival: Conserving for the Future,” Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Chapman College in Orange, will feature lectures and demonstrations for high school students. A $3 registration fee includes lunch. Call (714) 997-6831 for details.
