Beach Parking Fees
The cub reporter who wrote the editorial diatribe about Huntington Beach parking fees (April 9) should be sent back to journalism school.
A pro would have discovered that the present fees don’t cover the beach operating costs, including the cost of removing tons of garbage strewn on the beach by out-of-towners.
Since most cars arriving at the beach contain several occupants, the fee increase is about the same as the cost of one can of soda pop per person.
Big deal.
