Article About Protests Held on Abortion Issue

I’d like to thank you for the editorial (April 7) on the abortion debate at the April 3 Tustin City Council meeting. You correctly identified what should have been the central point of this issue. It is not within the province of a city council to attempt to represent its constituency on an issue of this type.

Ursula Kennedy, Ron Hoesterey and Dick Edgar are to be commended for recognizing where their obligations to the citizens of Tustin begin and end. John Kelly and Earl Prescott are guilty of grandstanding.
