Huntington Beach : $6.7 Million Is Waiting for Lucky Lotto Player
A lottery ticket bought in Huntington Beach will bring $6,733,161 to the owner, state lottery officials said Sunday.
Two players had the six winning “Lotto 6-49” numbers and will split a $13,466,322 jackpot, officials said.
Lottery officials said the winning tickets were bought in Huntington Beach and Alameda.
The numbers drawn Saturday night were 5, 49, 24, 36, 41, 9 and the bonus number, 7. Winners’ names are not known until they turn in their tickets.
Seven tickets had five regular numbers and the bonus; the buyers each won $298,327. The tickets were bought in Paramount, Escondido, Coronado, Roseville, Auburn, San Pablo and Cupertino.
There were 271 tickets with five numbers, each winning $3,970, while 16,670 tickets had four numbers, to win $58 each. Another 324,262 players picked three numbers, good for $5 each.
