TRW Inc.: The Cleveland-based company reported that net income rose 4% to $69 million in the first quarter on a 1% decline in sales to $1.79 billion. A provider of high-technology products and services to the defense, automotive and information systems industries, TRW said each major segment of its operation reported operating profits equal to or better than those in the year-earlier period.
