Industry : Child-Care Planning Grant
The City of Industry has received a $25,000 grant from the State Department of Education to plan and coordinate child care.
Although the city has a population of only 381, between 55,000 and 60,000 people work there. They were surveyed in March on their need for child care, city officials said, and the results will be known in May.
