Two men died in the crash of their small helicopter onto the roof of a store in a shopping mall in Stockton, police said. The six-store complex was closed for several hours while authorities investigated the crash. Witnesses reported that the two-seat Robinson R-22, owned by Sunrise Helicopters, had taken off from Stockton Metro Airport, lost power and looped into a power line before crashing, Police Capt. Dennis Perry said. Identification of the victims was withheld pending confirmation.
