Could somebody in the KNBC news department...

Could somebody in the KNBC news department please explain why their 6 p.m. anchors Kelly Lange and Keith Morrison are allowed to carry on their inane banter with the other reporters, particularly Fritz Coleman, Fred Roggin and Doug Kriegel? They continue to babble nonsense, especially during Coleman’s reports, to such an extent that it is almost embarrassing to watch at times. Neither Lange or Morrison has the wit to keep up with Coleman, a genuinely funny guy. Even though cutesy attempts at repartee have become widespread on several local news shows, the aforementioned seem to be the worst offenders. I have been watching KNBC newscasts almost exclusively for 25 years, but this is sorely tempting me to switch.
