Priorities

The Times reveals the priorities of this “kinder, gentler Administration” (Part I, April 15). The proposed budget will include cuts in both military and entitlement programs. There will be $1.4 billion sliced from defense and $2.7 billion from Medicare. President Bush, the article states, had to be persuaded to accept these military cuts.

It shows the priorities of this Administration--arms are worth more than bodies.
