A woman cleaning out the flower bed around her azalea bushes found something a lot worse than weeds: a live hand grenade.

Vickie Martorano said she uncovered the grenade while digging in the garden Sunday. Army explosives experts called in from Ft. Dix examined the grenade and said it was from the World War II era, but it was still live. They took it away to be detonated.
