How big was “Roseanne’s” lead in the ratings last week? So big that “Have Faith,” the show that followed it on ABC, lost nearly one-quarter of “Roseanne’s” 23.8 million households and still finished third among the week’s 83 prime-time programs, according to figures released Tuesday by the A.C. Nielsen Co. Nevertheless, NBC continued to dominate the network race, finishing first for the 44th week in a row. The full list of ratings is on Page 8.

* Things may be looking up for Grant Tinker and his GTG Entertainment. The company’s first three network series bombed on CBS this season, but “Baywatch: Panic at Malibu Pier,” the pilot for an NBC drama about lifeguards, won the battle of TV movies Sunday night. “Baywatch” attracted viewers in about 16 million homes, while ABC’s “Peter Gunn” drew about 13.3 million and CBS’ “The Littlest Victims” garnered about 9.9 million.
