More Aid to Contras
I read where Congress has approved the plan of President Bush to give $49.8 million in non-military aid for the Contras.
If we are truly interested in not overthrowing governments in our hemisphere, and in the name of fairness, should we not be giving a like amount to the government of Nicaragua? We could earmark it as non-military aid, and since we have millions to spare, it would easily prove our neutrality.
