IN BRIEF : Garden Grove Slayer Sought
Police today are looking for a killer who fired several shots into another man at a Vietnamese restaurant in Garden Grove Tuesday night.
Tu Van Nguyen, 34, was shot several times in the upper torso about 10:30 p.m. after he and an unidentified man sitting at another table at the Phu Khanh Seafood Restaurant at 10557 Bolsa Ave. began to argue and then to fight, Sgt. Kenneth Whitley said. Police don’t know if the two men knew each other.
During the scuffle the man pulled out a gun, fired several shots at Nguyen and then fled, Whitley said.
Nguyen was rushed to Fountain Valley Community Hospital, where he died during surgery.
