Ex-CSUN Soccer Player Joins Canadian League

Rick Iversen, a former Cal State Northridge soccer player, has signed a professional contract with the Vancouver Vistas of the Canadian Soccer League.

Iversen had six goals and two assists last season for the Matadors, who finished 18-8 and second nationally. He is the third CSUN player to sign professionally. Joey Kirk (Wichita Wings) and Thor Lee (Los Angeles Lazers) play in the Major Indoor Soccer League.
