A Beatles fan with $1 million to spare could buy a ticket to ride in the style of the Fab Four, when a rainbow-colored 1965 Bentley automobile that once ferried John Lennon and the other Beatles through the streets of London goes on the auction blocks in June. The car, now owned by a New York couple, is expected to fetch between $800,000 and $1 million, according to Christie’s auction house in New York. Other memorabilia on offer at the June 21 sale include two Beatles’ suits from the film “A Hard Day’s Night” and Elvis Presley’s gun permit.

Sinatra 101? In a new twist for traditional education, the University of Arizona in Tucson this summer will offer the first class in the music of Frank Sinatra, to be taught by Sinatra fan Jerry E. Kirkbride, a clarinetist and associate professor of music. “Frank Sinatra is a unique vocalist with an equally unique career spanning more than 50 years,” Kirkbride said. “His discography is enormous and offers unequaled interpretations of show tunes and standards.” The course will be titled “American Pop Music: Sinatra Era.”
