Prime Computer: The Natick, Mass., computer company reported a first-quarter net loss of $5 million, contrasted with net income of $14.5 million a year earlier. Revenue of $387 million was up 6% from a year ago. The net loss included a $6.3-million pretax charge for expenses associated with MAI Basic Four Inc.’s hostile tender offer for Prime.
