Commercial Scene : Chubb Insurance Group Leases in Koll Center

A large insurance company has signed a 10-year lease valued at about $4.8 million for 19,079 square feet of office space in the new Koll Center, under construction at 501 W. Broadway in downtown San Diego.

The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos., doing business as Federal Insurance Co., will move into the space when the center is completed in July. John Burnham & Co. represented the insurer. The Koll Co., developer of the center, represented itself in the transaction.
