Heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, notorious for biting off the heads of a dove and a bat on stage, has joined the list of AIDS fighters. In a departure from his bad-boy image, Osbourne will donate $15,000 from his June 4 concert in Philadelphia to AIDS research. “No one could have ever dreamed up a more insidious and evil disease,” Osbourne says. “AIDS has no boundaries, no borders. I’m terrified of its impact and it’s changing life as we know it.” The Philadelphia show will mark the start of Osbourne’s North American tour.
