Majesty’s Imp, a potential Kentucky Derby starter who is managed by former baseball manager Chuck Tanner, was withdrawn when he was diagnosed as having a bone chip in his knee.

“We’re going to put him on a van and take him to Keeneland and do arthroscopic surgery on the knee,” Tanner said. “You don’t get this opportunity very often, but we have to do what’s best for the horse.”
