Louis Kanaster, 78; Ex-Housing Official, Planning Consultant
Louis Kanaster, 78, a longtime member of the Los Angeles County Regional Commission and from 1971 to 1977 executive director of the County Housing Authority, died Tuesday at his home in San Pedro.
Kanaster, a veteran planning consultant, was retired. A widower, his survivors include a son, daughter, brother and four grandchildren.
