Soccer Fan’s Lament: How Media Covers It

Just when soccer is starting to be played in the United States with some sophistication, The Times can’t seem to let the tragedy of English soccer alone.

No one can ignore the fact that soccer thugs exist, but what of the thugs that exist in the stadiums of the United States?

And we get nothing in the paper about the sport that is played by thousands in the United States and certainly in Southern California.

The Lazers are not a soccer team. Indoor soccer is to soccer what arena football is to football.
