Happy With Eastern

As a frequent user of Eastern Airlines during the last year, I am somewhat amazed at the negative reports concerning the service given by Eastern employees and the efficiency of the airline. Since August, 1988, my wife and I have made eight trips to the East Coast and the Caribbean on Eastern. We found the reservations clerks and cabin personnel courteous and helpful on all our many flights. Also, we landed on time or early, with the exception of one flight when we took off late due to an equipment problem.

The employees of Eastern did an excellent job of keeping their troublesome labor problems divorced from their work and did not let it interfere with the service offered. It is our hope that a resolution can be quickly found for this complex problem and that the airline can once again provide travel for us.
