Hilton Hotels said a judge ordered that a 28% interest in its stock be distributed by the Conrad N. Hilton estate under the previously reported settlement between the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and Barron Hilton, who is chief executive of the hotel chain . . . Whittaker Corp. announced that it has entered into an agreement in principle to sell its Technibilt division to CDA Industries Inc. of Scarborough, Canada. Terms of the sale, which is subject to the negotiation of a definitive agreement and other conditions, were not disclosed . . . Braniff said it has been informed by the Air Line Pilots Assn., which represents Braniff’s 842 pilots, that members have ratified the contract agreement tentatively reached between the company and the pilots at the end of April . . . The Federal Reserve reported that the average yield for one-year T-bills, the most popular index for making changes in adjustable-rate mortgages, fell to 9.16% last week, down from 9.22% the week before . . . Brant Publications, a New York publishing house, has agreed in principle to buy Interview, the oversized celebrity feature magazine founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, from Andy Warhol Enterprises Inc. Terms of the sale were not disclosed . . . The oil and gas rig count rose this past week by 13 to total 764, Baker Hughes Inc. reported. Last week, the number of working oil and gas rigs had fell by 16 to total 751, the company said. A year ago, the count totaled 897.
