An acoustical team and an engineering team have been hired by the Walt Disney Concert Hall Committee for the construction of the Walt Disney Concert Hall at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. Minoru Nagata of Nagata & Associates in Tokyo will be the principal acoustician. Charles M. Salter Associates Inc. of San Francisco will be the local acoustician, specializing in noise and vibration control, and Lothar Cremer of Berlin will serve as acoustical adviser to the committee. The engineering team includes CBM Engineering of Houston as structural engineer; Consentini Associates of New York and Levine/Seegel Associates of Santa Monica as mechanical engineer; Frederick Russell Brown & Associates of Sherman Oaks as electrical engineer. Frank Gehry is the architect.
